Let’s “ROLE”

Nope, that’s not a typo! One of the best stories I heard came from a player from one of our NFL clients. It wasn’t about an amazing catch, touchdowns, or anything else to do with football. It was about a letter he received from a random passenger who was on his flight one day. She wrote to thank him for the ROLE he set for her son who was watching him the entire flight. The little boy noticed he spent the entire flight being kind to the airline staff and other passengers, studying his playbook, and making healthy eating choices. Going into the holiday season, let’s all make a choice to spread some love and to start being a ROLE MODEL through positive actions. Here are some thoughts to get you started. HIT THE PAUSE – If it doesn’t NEED to be said, DON’T say it! BE DEPENDABLE – Do what’s right, not what’s easy. You never know who’s watching! PAY IT FORWARD – Kindness is contagious, but it has to start somewhere. The world is over four billion years old, and you’re only here for maybe eighty if you’re lucky. Don’t waste it being part of the problem. Enjoy your Thanksgiving and the rest of the holiday season. Remember, THE WORLD NEEDS HITTERS!
